We are thrilled to reveal our preliminary advisory board members for the Dezentrum think tank. It has been an exciting time establishing these key relationships and we can’t wait to share them with you. With their extensive network and expertise, the advisors have already been a tremendous help to the Dezentrum and we are looking forward to their continued guidance.
So without further ado, please welcome to the team:
Peter G. Kirchschläger, Monique Morrow, Daniel Gasteiger
Daniel Gasteiger serves as the CEO of Procivis. Furthermore he is the initiator and Co-Founder of the Trust Square Blockchain Hub as well as the Co-Founder of Verum Capital and Nexussquared. Daniel is also a TEDx Speaker, a Member of the Board of Directors of the Global Blockchain Council and a well respected expert in the field of decentralized technologies.
Prior to this, Daniel has worked in financial services for more than 20 years. In his last role at UBS, he built up and managed the Office of the Chairman as a Managing Director.
Monique is President and Co-Founder of the Humanized Internet, a non-profit organization focused on providing digital identity for those individuals most underserved, blockchain is certainly a potential mechanism for this billion people challenge. Monique is also a an Associated Researcher at Alexander Humboldt University Institute of Internet and Society. Furthermore Monique is co-chair of the IEEE Ethics in AI and Autonomous Systems Mixed Reality Committee in addition to being a member of its Executive Committee.
Prior to this Monique has served in a number of engineering roles. In her last role she held the position of Cisco’s first Services CTO.
Peter G. Kirchschläger serves as Professor of Theological Ethics and as Director of the Institute of Social Ethics ISE at the Faculty of Theology of the University of Lucerne. Peter is further Research Fellow at the University of the Free State, Bloemfontein (South Africa), Guest-Lecturer at the Leuphana University Lueneburg (Germany), a consultative expert in Ethics of national and international organizations and institutions such as the UN, EU, UNESCO, Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, Council of Europe, Companies and NGOs, and member of a working-group of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) on a standard on ethics in IT design.
Prior to this Peter was a visting fellow at Yale University (USA), Fellow at the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, Lund University (Sweden), Visiting Scholar at the University of Technology Sydney (Australia), and Guest-Professor at the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium).
